On the 12th of July2005-07-13, 18 people from Sandgate

primary school went to take place in district sports.

When we arrived at the Julie rose stadium we all got together

in rows and waited for the first race to start, which was the

upper school boys (80 metre sprint) which Alex came 4 th in.

After that it was upper school girls 80 meters which Charley

was taking place in, she came 4 th also was the lower school

mixed relay (60 meter Shuttle) which Jacob, Ellie, Adam,

Oliver, Abigail, and Loren ran. After the lower relay came the

upper boys relay (80metre shuttle) which Alex, Jamie, Kilian

and Shay took place in which we came 1 st in by half a track,

WE WERE IN THE FINALS!!!!!!!!!

Next was the upper school girls relay which Charley, Ellie,

Helen and Chloe won for us….1 st place. After that was the

lower school boys 70 metres which we came 3 rd in, and also

the lower school girls 70 metres which we came 2 nd in.

The javelin was being held why all the track events were taking

place, when Aaron and Fatima returned we found out that the

results were good they were both in 3 rd place. Well done

Fatima and Aaron.

At the end of district sports our upper school girls got medals

and out of the whole district sports we one a trophy for getting

the most points we got joint first with park farm … WELL

DONE SANDGATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
